While there is no cost to join us in our mutual desire to help end child abuse, we do use any and all
donations for the fight against child abuse. Personalized membership card will be sent to anyone requesting one at no
charge.
No one at Defend the Children, Inc receives any compensations other than the
knowledge that we are working for the good of the children. We work with hope and prayers that we will make a difference
in another's life. That is our goal and will someday be our reward we pray.
However,
we do have costs involved in keeping this website going such as web fees, costs for advertising products and postage.
We had the costs of incorporating and are saving to have the money to apply for Federal non profit tax id in the near future.
The minimum costs for a Federal non profit is $300.00 but the benefits are many, including it enables those who donate to
use their donations as a tax deduction and the company to than apply for grants and other means of generating funds.

There are many ways one can help the children. Educating the
public of what is going on in this country is a big start for too often the public believes that children are protected by
law or they believe the true danger to a child lies with a stranger harming the child. To make the public aware is to
develope a strong source of support for abuse victims.
We have flyers and postcards with information
which would be beneficial for the public to have. Unfortunately, we simply cannot reach everyone. We ask our members
who are able to volunteer to distribute the supplies to places where they might be most beneficial to email us and we
will send supplies to you. We doabsorb the cost of the materials.
